I feel as though we barely scratched the surface last week of what Netflix has to offer of shows about how to cook, who cooks and what they cook.
Shows set in kitchens are famously easy to create, which explains why there are so many of them. But, the bar is set very high now.
Also, a lot of the shows do seem…similar, with Gordon, or Jamie, or Gino, or one of their many imitators throwing out the catchphrases as they muck around in the kitchen. No offence to all the dude-bros and their food-shows, but Netflix has more to offer than just the same old recipe.
