Turlock CA City Council pursues sales tax amid coronavirus

The Turlock City Council on Wednesday decided to pursue putting a sales tax measure on the November ballot.

Officials must determine the tax rate, duration and ballot language by June 23, which is also the deadline to approve the budget for the upcoming fiscal year, City Manager Toby Wells said.
